If you have read my previous post about my diet choice!, you will know I have mention steamed chicken and Chinese cabbage served with brown rice is one of my favourites. In this post I am going to share about this easy, healthy and yummy recipe!

Steamed of boiled food can be tasteless and boring but not mine. With my grandma's recipe sauces, this steamed meal is very fragrance and appetizing! I remembered when I was still in my primary school, after I come back from school, the moment I near the door of my house, I can smell "Today's lunch - Steamed Chicken" !!!

Chinese cabbage has a lots of health benefits like antioxidant, low in calories, high in floats, vitamins, minerals and also like other vegetables, a source of fibre. It is one of the Asian most consume vegetable. Korean use it to make kimchee.

Rice, why BROWN rice? It is because not only it has lowest calories but also higher nutrition due to it is unrefined. Unrefined food are better for our body to absorb and convert it to a good energy source. My grandma prepared white rice as it was common to consume white rice and less awareness about white rice is bad for us. However, now we are moving toward a healthy lifestyle, I choose to consume brown rice.

I like to use chicken breast because it contain less fat, calories and more protein but if you prefer the other parts, go ahead. Again there is no restriction of what you want to do with your own food ;)
